ISO 9001 certification

Since December 2002, Sitip has held this certification of compliance with the technical standards for quality management systems. Sitip is committed to continuous improvement and to the introduction of effective policies and business processes to ensure full customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001 environmental certification

Sitip has held this certification since January 2020. It establishes the requirements for the company’s environmental management systems (EMS) and certifies their compliance, highlighting the company’s commitment to reducing pollution risks and its intention of interacting positively with the environment.

ISO 50001 certification

Since November 2022, Sitip has held this certification that specifies the requirements to create, start, maintain and improve an Energy Management System (SGE).
Energy consumption, therefore, needs to be managed efficiently for continuous improvement: in fact a timely and systematic monitoring of energy use can be able to allow in a short time a considerable saving of internal costs company, as well as ensuring a valuable contribution to the protection of energy resources globally.

BLUESIGN® certification

In July 2015, Sitip obtained BLUESIGN® certification for its production system, showing that it is responsible and sustainable and aimed at mitigating the use of harmful substances from the start of the production process, as well as establishing and monitoring standards for production that is environmentally friendly and safe for people.

OEKO TEX® certification

Since March 2003, Sitip has held Standard 100 certification. This guarantees that its fabrics contain no harmful substances for human health.

ROADMAP TO ZERO

The company is committed to:

  • replacing and reducing the use of hazardous chemicals,
  • developing transparent processes to promote safer chemicals,
  • developing effective tools and training to improve chemical management,
  • encouraging cooperation with suppliers, employees and all stakeholders to promote transparency about the chemicals used and discharged.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification

Since January 2020, this certification has guaranteed that Sitip’s products are made with recycled materials, in accordance with environmental and social criteria applied in all stages of production, including the traceability of the raw materials used.

ECOVADIS

In April 2015, Sitip obtained valid corporate social responsibility (CSR) qualification at European level from ECOVADIS, certifying the integration of sustainable and socially responsible actions in the production process.

HIGG INDEX

The Higg index is a self-evaluation standard of the clothing and footwear industry to assess environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain.
It was launched in 2012 by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a non-profit organization of more than 100 fast fashion companies, the United States Environmental Protection Agency and other non-profit entities.

SA8000 certification

Effective in Sitip since December 2023, SA8000 certification is a management model that aims to enhance and protect all employees within the sphere of control and influence of the organizations that adopt it.
SA8000 is a standard for improving worker’s social conditions: promoting ethical and fair treatment; including international human rights conventions.
